On 26-28 May 2011 we took part in the conference “Global Development and the EU New Member States – time for a re-launch?” organized by the Polish Humanitarian Action, Global Development Research Group and Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities, in cooperation with the Pontis Foundation, NGO Support Center, Centre for Study on Development as well as Norwegian Institute of International Affairs. A key highlight of the event included a lecture ”Solidarity for Development” – by Professor Jerzy Buzek, President of the European Parliament.
